Quebec is mostly known for their tourism because one of Quebec's most funnest place to go is Ice Hotel also known as Hotel de Glace is located in Quebec City the Ice Hotel has stunning architecture and a lot of things to do like you can go down the slide and there's a indoor and every winter they will remake it. If you like hockey then you should go to the Bell Centre located in Montreal, Quebec this arena has a capacity of about 21,000 people this arena is a great place to go with your friends and to watch the Montreal Canadiens in action and every year the Canadiens attract over 1 million people. Another cool place to go is the Aquarium Du Quebec because it's a indoor and outdoor aquarium and there are a lot of things to see like Seals, Walruses and Polar Bears. But if your not interested in going to these places then I would recommend the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts because this place has a lot cool vibrant sculptures and magnificent artwork. But if you want go to somewhere with a stunning view then you should go to Montmorency Falls because at night the water is colourful.

History
The Native Americans lived on the land where Quebec is. In 1534 A man named Jacques Cartier took the land from the natives for the French Ruler. After 12,000 years of the Natives having the land it now belonged to the French. In 1608 Samuel De Champlain arrived at the Saint Lawrence. The aboriginals called this place Kebec. In 1642, Paul Chomeday started a catholic mission that he named Ville-Marie, later known as Montreal. There was a seven year war that ended with the French handing over Quebec to the British. The war was from 1756-1763. At the end of the war there was the treaty of Paris. Now that the British had conquered the French, a lot of immigration started. Lots of people from England, Ireland, Scotland and Whales moved to Quebec.
Quebec joined Canada in 1867, on July 1st. July first is also Canada day. From the late 1950's-late 1960's there was a quiet revolutions. This was a time of great change that took place mostly through the government (and not through war). After the quiet revolution there were a lot of people who did not want to be a part of Canada. So they had to have two referendums to see if they should be a part of Canada or shouldn't be a part of Canada. The referendums took place in 1980 and again in 1995. I think they should have been able not be a part of Canada because Canada is so big and Quebec is big enough to be its own Country.
